Free Household Electronics Recycling: What‘s Accepted and What Isn’t
CJD’s consumer electronics recycling program is free for computers, laptops, monitors, flat-screen TVs, networking equipment, audio and video equipment, game consoles, cell phones, small appliances, and the vast majority of household devices. CRT televisions, console TVs, and projection TVs carry a fee due to the specialized handling they require. Visit our accepted items page or call ahead if you’re unsure about a specific item.
Drive-Through Drop-Off, No Appointment Needed
Pull into our Edwardsville drive-through and our team handles the unloading. We’re open Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:30pm, and Saturday, 9am to 1pm. No forms. No waiting. Bring as little or as much as you have.

Computers, phones, and other devices with stored data are processed responsibly. CJD sanitizes or physically destroys data on-site when possible. When on-site capability isn’t available, devices are securely transferred to a certified processing facility that meets the same standards we do.
