Material value at CJD is driven by commodity markets, condition, and copper content. Here’s how the most common e-scrap categories price out.

Computer Scrap Price List: Wiring, PC Towers, and Mixed IT Equipment
Miscellaneous computer wire and CAT5 cable are among the highest-value, per-pound categories in a typical IT clean-out, with wiring often outperforming other scrap in the same load. PC towers pay based on component grade, with higher-grade units landing at the top of the range. High-volume or mixed loads that need material separation before pricing are handled through our sorting and processing program.
E-Scrap Prices for High-Value Material and Specialty Items
Silver-plated items return the highest per-pound value on our current pricing sheet. High-grade copper and clean non-ferrous metals follow close behind. Circuit board recycling and specialized electronic components may pay above what the non-ferrous retail sheet reflects, which is one reason high-volume sellers benefit from requesting the full e-waste price list.

Where are you located?

Our recycling center is located at 5257 N. State Route 157, Edwardsville, IL 62025. Business hours
are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The e-waste price list on this page covers the most frequently sold non-ferrous metals and common electronic scrap categories at standard small-quantity rates. What is the difference between retail and dealer pricing?

Retail pricing is available to any seller and reflects current commodity rates. Dealer pricing applies to volume accounts generating hundreds of pounds or more per visit, or businesses with ongoing material flow. Dealer rates are higher than retail and are shared directly with qualifying accounts after the form is submitted.

Do you buy small quantities of e-scrap?

Yes. Small-quantity sellers are welcome at our drive-through facility with no appointment needed. Minimum weight thresholds apply on select material categories, but there is no minimum quantity to drop off and get priced.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Appointments are not required for drop-offs during normal business hours. If you’re bringing a large volume of materials, calling ahead helps our team have space and staff ready when you arrive.

Can I drop off items without calling ahead?

Yes. Customers are welcome to drop off acceptable items during our regular business hours
without calling ahead.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, and credit/debit cards.

What items do you NOT accept?

We do not accept construction materials, textiles, DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, vapes, smoking devices cassette tapes,
remanufactured ink or toner, radioactive or flammable materials, hazardous materials, household
smoke detectors, non-electronic waste (including tires, wood, office waste, roofing materials, and
dirt), firearms, ammunition, shells, explosives, PCB-containing equipment, prescription medications,
over-the-counter medications, illegal drugs, devices containing mercury, equipment containing
asbestos or radioactive components, infectious or pathological waste, pesticides, oil filters, airbags,
lead, or mercury switches.
